Hi Dominic, thanks for the video. I'm a Chartered Tax Advisor and we've recently advised a client who's set up a SSAS with flexibility to invest into crypto via a UK based FCA registered exchange. Has to be done very carefully, but it allows clients the flexibility to invest into crypto if they want. Obviously very high risk, but as SSAS member trustees they can make their own investment decisions.

You can buy shares in a mining company, such as Argo Blockchain (ARB)

Hi Dominic, thanks for the video. I'd argue that yes, even though the crypto market is controlled by whales, the same applies to the stock market (Nvidia - Nancy Pelosi for example). Insider trading and coordinated buys/dumps will be a part of the market, whichever sector it is.

Such a shame, but the uk government isn't there to help the people of the uk so its not surprising 😢

But in regards to bitcoin, even for the banks, soon they won't want to hold endless printed money. Weimar republic much.

This has aged like milk sorry, ETF launch Bitcoin dropped from 48k to 38k. And inflows have continued to increase and now Bitcoin back at 48k.

Hi Dominic. Are you invested in crypto yourself..? What do you think about taking the 25% tax free pension and investing some of it into iso20022 cryptocurrencies..?

Hi there, I appreciate your way of thinking on this subject as I have been waiting around for about a year when this transition first came into my head and although I agree with what you say about volatility of the crypto market but really my pension portfolio is down already and probably just as volatile as most stock markets or infact crypto, the truth is that the UK have been keeping a close eye on the U.S. on how they handled passing bills on regulating crypto and the reason people including myself can't & won't be allowed to convert any pension fund to a crypto asset is because the UK government want their slice of pie first by setting the laws on regulations, not trying to be petty here, they just can't stand that you can think and control your future and if DD is used you can become reasonably comfortable which is why I have been making calls to some consultants but they have been warned to say " no to crypto " at least just now, please keep your channel up and running and would appreciate any input from anyone on this matter, I would love to retire in 3-5 years with this type of transition.

I would definitely invest my pension inside crypto. Like a bitcoin ETF, bitcoin mining stocks, and other crypto-related stocks. By the time the FCA approves an ETF for bitcoin, bitcoin will be a lot higher and a lot less volatile with probably less ROI.

Thanks for the info Dominic - I think the institutionals are already buying & selling in whale sizes & that’s why it’s so volatile… I think there will be a BTC ETF soon. Talking about Elon there? Lol.
I think there’s a market for giving advice to people - I know a lot of people who would like to invest in it, but as you say, it’s still very new. Plus there are a lot of unscrupulous scammers out there - definitely a market for you FCA types…
