What really got me was they didn't just put up any mic in the center. At 1:17, you can see the mic has a red band at the base. Each member has their own distinct color on their mics. Red IS Jonghyun's mic. They still prepped his mic for him, even though they already knew he wouldn't be there

I'm just a baby shawol. I never knew SHINee when Jonghyun was alive. I wish I had, but unfortunately I didn't discover kpop until very recently. The boys were so strong to keep pushing on. It must've been so rough and I commend them for giving this beautiful performance so close to Jonghyun's death. It's hard not to get emotional during this song. Every time Minho looks at the empty mic. Key singing with tears welling up in his eyes. When Onew breaks down putting the rose on his mic stand. I totally lose it at 4:11. It's such a beautiful and touching performance...one that I'm sure Jonghyun would be proud of. He may be gone from this earthly plane, but his spirit lives on in his brothers. RIP Jonghyun. You did well.

This was my first time seeing this, and OMG. When Jonghyun's voice came on and Minho stared at the mic trying to keep the tears in. Than Jinki sang his part and started crying. At the end Jinki broke down. Key tried to hold it in, but could not. That all was "Heart-tugging" right there from beginning to end 😭😭😭😭😭 You all were so brave for singing this song for him, and for holding in your tears until you got off the stage.

i don’t know shinee well, i came into the kpop scene very late back in 2021 and after learning what happened to jonghyun i came here. this was a beautiful performance and such a beautiful tribute. i cried. i’m so sorry to shinee members and everyone who was affected by his loss, i hope you know you are not alone and you will never be. this isn’t the end i promise. thank you shinee for performing depsite how painful this must have been
