We might do better if we stopped spending billions of dollars in foreign countries, maybe cut way back on corporate subsidizing (welfare). How about not selling off our infrastructure under the guise of private, public, partnerships. Use only the bank of Canada( I think we still own that) & not pay so much interest to foreign bankers.

What if we cut immigration and implement tarrifs? That would limit the workforce to people already here, give more bargaining power to the workers, and force wages up.

A lot of good ideas from the Mowat Institute but all very vague and most of them have already been thought of. The other problem is that "virtue signaling" in a trade negotiation is a very very poor strategy and gets you nowhere fast as shown in the recent NAFTA trade talks.

Personally, I think any negative assumptions about inclusive growth are from the type of people who want to exclude the people in the working class. A.I. and other technological advancements might do more harm than good to an average job if it is designed to take work from that job, when it would be better to assist or include the working class. Or the negative comments could just be the barrage of trolls inhibiting any good ideas or a normal conversation about what inclusive growth might mean.
