I had 2 sleep studies for all types of sleep issues. Then, 1 in office EEG photosensitivity test, 1 in hospital Video EEG, both negative. Over a year, almost 2 years later, had ambulatory EEG, reulted on spike wave with possibly poly spikes, photosensitivity negative. So finally something was captured.

I just had “suspected seizure activity” on my ambulatory EEG. Are there things that can cause false positives? I was told to try to trigger one, so I was watching a video that triggered my photosensitivity and that’s what caused the episode that I pressed the button on. Could me watching that have caused a false positive? Google has me confused and I have to wait two weeks to talk to my doctor.

what if no explanation is found? It happened to me twice with 14 months in between. How can it be just unspecific
