I'm currently having an overnight EEG. I looked up this video because I am so bored...don't worry it was fine. If you are getting an EEG just prepare yourself. Try not to be scared nd think of the good.

5 months ago, I was the second person at my hospital to receive an internal EEG. 9 days of it was spent with my EEG monitor and away from a good section of my skull. This experience was very educational and eye opening. Although I did not have a seizure during my 9 days of monitoring, I overall had a great and uneventful experience with my teams of doctors and nurses!

I am getting this even tho I have never had a seizure.. just dissociation. I don't understand why I need to wear this for three days. I have to work and go to a show. Just very confused. :((

I have daughters she is4 month old according to Dr she need to do EEG because when she was born she didn’t cry so she was stay in NICU for treatment, 9 days so I want to know about EEG advantages and disadvantages

I’m going for one in November I’ve had epilepsy since I was born and when I have to get one I’m always so nervous my heart is pounding like crazy it really does hurt when the light gets flashed in your eyes adding to the nerves it keeps going faster and faster I just wish there was a better way to scan the brain 😣

My son has to have this done on August 1st. Feeling anxious about it and hoping he will do ok because he has severe Autism and gets very upset in new settings.

I just took my EEG. In all my years, they didn’t give me the light to my eyes this time around. Why ?? And it was less than 40 minutes. Are they doing their job right or is it just me?

I'm about to have my first EEG test tomorrow for 5 days and on one of those days is on my birthday

I'm having one done for a few days. I'm kinda a little scared. I wanted my dad or stepdad to take me so we could play board games or puzzles. But sadly my stepdad couldn't go and my dad can't because of work. So I'm going with my mom. Not horrible but would've rather had my dad or stepdad

there were rare burst of small amplitude (40uv) and slow waves 3hz maximum amplitude in occipital regions occasional polyspikes were seen in sleep and wave following arousal
