CTR 1999 Custom Track Update - Dark Ruins v3.0

Remember ol' Dark Ruins? It was my first ever custom track. Thanks to the newest development in the Editor tool we can now make use of full textures and UV mapping!!! I was able to completely transform this old level into something new.

Version 3 of Dark Ruins includes brand new textures, new custom music that i made, and a brand new section to make the track a bit longer and interesting taking further inspirations from Crash 1 and 2.

In case you were wondering where version 2 is. That's the version I uploaded originally. Version 1 was barebones and didn't last long at all.

Custom tracks are entering a new era, guys. Get ready.

I saw your Frozen Depths track and I considered it to be among the absolute best custom tracks made so far. And now, you've hit gold again with this one! Your work is always complete and I love how it captures the feel of the old CTR tracks while making them more intricate. If a CTR sequel had come out by Naughty Dog back in the 90s, I think it would've had tracks just like yours: faithful to the og's style while updating them for new tricks and more complex racing. Your tracks are simple enough for beginner players to play in while also giving experienced players great content to race in, your shortcuts are awesome and exact to how the OG did it!

This is amazing. The new textures really elevate it. It legit could pass as an official track. You're quickly becoming the Sniki/Metabus of CTR Customs.

I've got a lot to learn about CTR modding. I recently got the mod tools a few days ago, and everything is just alien and confusing to me. So much different from making Mario Kart Wii tracks. But I want to figure it out and start making stuff like courses, characters, and music.

I love how you expanded the track to make it slightly longer and even incorporated the official CTR start line banner (even if it's not animated).
You Boxic are probably the best CTR custom track creator so far with your original ideas and your major update glow-ups to past ones, too.
