2. Central Asian sheperd
3. Fila Brasilero

Dogo is very close to being on this list. Why do people always seem to forget about the Fila Brasileiro.

Most of these dogs are mastiffs and that's the way to go. I have two Boerboels in South Africa, Trooper and Major and God help anyone who gets on the wrong side of them. They recognise most of the family but we have to be careful of rare visitors. Mastiffs are intelligent animals that require exercise and a way to absorb their interest; other-size you'll get your carpets and furniture chewed.

Thanks for posting.  I owned  pitbulls, presa canario, kangal, dogue de bordeux rottweilers and pound for pound pits are the strongest dogs in the canine world. They are tough to the core.  Absolutely loyal too and they wont let their sight off you. It's not the size of dog in the fight but the size of the fight in the dog.

If you have Caucasian Ovk. on there you should have the Tibetan Mastiff as hell. They basically come from the same bloodline. They actually look very similar except for the ears.

I knew a guy who bread dogo argentinos for hunting wild boar purposes.. they would grab their ears and he would cut off the ears on the boar cus the dogs wouldnt let go.
