“Interdependence in Action: Building a New Framework for Solving Global Problems,” online event

On December 17, OneShared.World hosted another installment of the “Rise or Fall Together” Event Series. In this one-hour online panel discussion, distinguished global leaders including James Mwangi, Executive Director of Dalberg; Gabriella Cuevas Barron, Honorary President, Inter-Parliamentary Union & Member of Parliament, Mexican Congress; G. John Ikenberry, Albert G. Milbank Professor of Politics and International Affairs at Princeton University; and Omar Almutawa, former United Arab Emirates Youth Representative to the United Nations, explored the urgent importance of reimagining our global operating system to solve common problems. Panelists addressed the following key questions:How do we build a new framework for solving global problems?What is the significance of multilateral cooperation in addressing global issues?What are the different modes of global cooperation and how do they influence the global landscape differently?How can we come together to influence global decision makers?Afterwards, participants continued the conversation in our virtual breakout session.
