Today we take a look at the Razer Basilisk v3 gaming mouse to see what it can do and to test out not only the mouse but also all the buttons.

The Razer Basilisk v3 has 10 buttons that you can program for different macros, it has a sensor that can reach up to 26 000 DPi and it looks pretty cool especially with the RGB at the bottom.

I actually like the fact that it’s wired. When your dealing with wireless, you deal with latency. I’ve played with enough devices and I play competitively so I can tell the difference and those ms of delay count

The fact that the free scroll mode is so good when you're just using the mouse normally and turn it off in a switch when you actually game

I don't game and hence I love the size and weight of such a mouse as the V3.A light mouse feels flimsy in my hand.

This looks identical to my Logitech G502, that smart scroll feature is pretty cool though. Would definitely like that

Hi there, thanks for your review :) Does the lack of a foot on the right side of the mouse impact how the mouse moves while in use? Have seen other reviewers mention it, but just picked up my original Basilisk and realised it also doesn’t have a foot on the right side, and have never noticed any drag because of it, so am wondering whether it’s something that is a very individual experience. Thanks!

Hi
I'm confused whether to buy the v2 or v3
Both v3 and v2 is discounted and selling for around ₹5K ($65) and ₹3K ($35) in my country
Should I get the v2 or v3
And is it really worth it paying the extra 30$?

I'm coming from the Logitech G502 Proteus Spectrum and the Razer Basilisk V3 is almost too light for my liking. I'm ok with it, but it could be heavier

Some people on reddit are posting about the scroll wheel problem, does it actually happen?
