Love the sounds of the morning as you do the watering & chickens. I think you are right about the butterflies and your mom. We had a bird unlike normal birds around our home. She came the morning after my best friend died and she stayed in front of the French doors all day as I sat on the computer writing her obituary and planning her funeral with her husband. About a week later I was watching her 3 month old son. Rocking him in the glider & the same bird came and sat of a trellis outside the room I was in and just watched me with the baby. They visit us.
