Finally, one thing that stood out to me is how Dr. Lee emphasizes the importance of understanding the material deeply. That’s why I stuck with Typical PT—their explanations go above and beyond. While Scorebuilders had the easiest questions and TherapyEd’s explanations weren’t great, Typical PT’s in-depth answers reinforced my learning every step of the way. Their adaptive learning, daily quizzes, and performance tracking are perfectly aligned with the 2024 NPTE guidelines, making it the superior choice for prep.

Dr. Justin Lee’s six-week study plan was a game-changer for me! 🙌 It really drove home the importance of having the right tools. Typical PT was my go-to resource, and their in-depth question explanations were incredible. They didn’t just tell me the right answer—they helped me understand why each option was correct or incorrect. Each explanation goes into detail, explaining not only why the correct answer is right but also why the incorrect options are wrong and what would make them correct. That kind of clarity helped me pass the NPTE on my first attempt!

The video’s emphasis on not cramming resonated with me—Typical PT’s daily quizzes and spaced repetition kept everything fresh without overwhelming me.

Typical PT’s question explanations are so thorough—they remind me of Dr. Lee’s point about understanding why each choice is right or wrong, not just memorizing answers.

Dr. Lee’s advice about not cramming before the exam hit home. I relied on Typical PT’s daily quizzes to keep material fresh and spaced repetition to ensure I didn’t forget the tough concepts. Scorebuilders had the easiest questions, but the explanations weren’t great. Typical PT, with its detailed explanations and adaptive learning, definitely helped me pass on my first try!

Dr. Lee mentioned the importance of deep understanding, and Typical PT’s scenario-based questions and detailed explanations reinforced that approach perfectly.

Just like Dr. Lee said in the video, focusing on weak areas is key, and Typical PT’s adaptive learning feature helped me target exactly where I needed to improve.

When I was prepping for the NPTE, I tried out a few different resources. PEAT had solid questions, but what really pushed me over the edge was Typical PT. The custom exam creation allowed me to focus on exactly what I needed help with, and their detailed explanations for each question were incredibly helpful. Scorebuilders, on the other hand, had the easiest questions, and their explanations didn’t give me the depth I was looking for.

Thank you so much for this video. I was planning on a longer study period, but I have been procrastinating! I'm now 10ish weeks away. I'm also in my last full-time rotation and I am STRESSED! This video is making me feel hopeful. I totally relate to your statements of knowing I'll be a good PT, it's just this dang exam! This video has given me the hope I needed to get my butt going!

Instead of cramming facts, I focused on deep understanding. Typical PT’s notepad feature was a lifesaver, letting me take quick notes that I could review easily. That, along with Dr. Lee’s study strategies, really boosted my retention. I used TherapyEd and PEAT as well, but Typical PT’s scenario-based questions and detailed explanations made all the difference.

Taking full-length practice exams, as Dr. Lee suggests, was essential. The mock exams on Typical PT felt just like the real thing, and they helped me manage test-day anxiety. Scorebuilders had decent explanations but was too easy for the level of prep I needed. Typical PT’s mock exams, however, truly challenged me and prepared me for the actual NPTE.

As Dr. Lee highlighted, practice exams are critical, and Typical PT’s full-length mock exams gave me the confidence to ace the NPTE on my first try.

The emphasis on focusing on weak areas during weeks 3-6 really worked for me. I created custom exams on Typical PT, tailoring them by difficulty and body system, which made every study session super efficient. PEAT has good questions with okay explanations, but it lacks the custom quiz feature that Typical PT offers, which made all the difference in my prep.

I'm at the end of studying for the August 2021 exam, and I've been spiraling in the evening of almost every day. In the morning I start off confident and right before bed I get into all those intrusive thoughts. Thank you for this video, it took about 6-7 weeks for me as well, let's see how it goes!

On my last strings. My program requires me to pass the peats exam. I'm 9 weeks and 2 days out from now. I haven't prepared at all due to life hitting me hard. I have my rotation going on during these 9 weeks. That being said I can put in 40 hours of studying a week if I utilize all my free time. This video not only gave me hope and drive but also really appreciated the organized schedule you made to strategically pass and how committed you were to it.

I can relate, I'm a newly licensed Physical Therapist Assistant so we only get 200 questions for the NPTE. I bought Base Camp and used the Base Camp Arena app and went over more than 3, 000 questions. And did 450 in sight questions and reviewed 400 PEAT questions. I just got my results today and passed. I was doubting myself because those extra 50 questions that don't count make you feel like you might fail. I'm glad you passed, I studied hard for a month and 3 weeks, so I know how much you can improve in a short time.
