We have that printer, and as a first time 3d printer. I'm impressed on the quality of print that we get from that

My first printer was a Anycubic Kossel. It was fun to see it working, especially in vase mode. it was very loud though and the bed leveling was a mess. Really fucked it up beyond repair when I tried fitting it with a silent stepper motor board.. Now this little thing is top of my list!

If you're just starting out like I was a week ago the A1 mini is hands down the choice. Also I know it's $150.00 more but get the AMS it's well worth it. If you have kids even younger ones this is very easy to use to start out. If you take your time you have your first Benchy in about 90 minutes. Then you can't stop LOL.

I have a P1S with AMS at home, but at the moment I'm spending more of my time at my parents house than my own.
Thinking of getting an A1 Mini just so I can at least get some stuff done while there. I've got a couple things I'm trying to design myself that I occasionally want to test print, and loads of little things like HSW & gridfinity accessories that I think it would be good for.
Not having to go back home just to print something minor, or taking up all my time at home with the printer would be nice.

Started on a E3v2 in 2021. Bought a X1C w/ AMS this last January. Just purchased the A1 mini today, and I ordered the .8mm nozzle to go with it. Too many times when I'm running longer prints on the X1C I feel crippled that I can't print my various functional bushings, jigs, spacers for day to day garage projects. for $200 to gain concurrent prints is a steal. I'll likely buy another one in short order too. the .8 nozzle will work a treat for printing my small bits quick so I have lower downtime in the garage.

Just placed my order… we will see how it goes. I’m pretty excited and hoping to build a side hustle with it.

My wife got me the P1S for my birthday to replace my Adventure 4, so of course I did a thing and just ordered the A1 mini to do smaller parts when the big brother is printing stuff lol oh and I now have 37 rolls of filament :P I did get the combo so If I decide to get the A1 for the bigger bed I have the lite I can toss on it, oh and I got the AMS combo on the P1S also, so glad I did! Just started following you and can't wait to see what you put out for vids!

I started with a ender 5 plus but want to get this as most the parts I’m printing I don’t need the hassle of the figuring everything out and it’d be faster to have a smaller printer to do them

I have a Ender 3 Max with 300x300x340mm build volume and finally want to get a printer that just works... Really thinking about getting the A1 Mini without AMS for $199, but I really can't decide if I will regret the 180mm³ print size in the near future.

It looks funnily small when I hold a 180x180mm piece of paper on my current build plate, but on the other hand I have never printed anything larger on it because I just expected it to come off after hours or days of printing... But maybe I would like to print larger if I had a reliable printer? I don't know 😭

Tbh I also could absolutely afford the X1C, but I just feel like there is something new around the corner, even if it's just the quickly swappable toolhead of the A1 on a new revision. I would hate myself after a $1500 investment if that happened, no matter how reliable it is in the current state.

You can buy a $35 wifi extender and set it up with the ssid and pw from your work wifi to keep from having to switch back and forth ☺️

Adam, one question that maybe you can find the answer too for me. I do not have a smart phone, so cannot run any of the A1Mini apps or even scan QR codes. I run my A1 mini offline only. Now I have a laptop that I use for Bambu studio and load the files to a SD card for the printer. What I need to do is update the firm ware in the A1 mini. But as far as I can find online the A1 mini cannot have its firmware updated OFFLINE. Is there a way I can do this as my printer is still running version 1 firmware. I cannot even ask Bambu lab since I cannot run there apps or scan there QR codes. Love the printer speed and quality, just want to update the firmware.

First printer was Ender 3 V2, but it is so heavily modified that it's closer to CR-10

all the prices that you mention are the discounted price not the regular full price.
