Interesting I have been trying to learn adding and subtracting fractions but I'm not very good at it

Ok, so I have been meaning to go through the entire algebra section, including the mission foundations, but I haven't had the time with work but I have been tackling what I could. Now this is one of the mission foundations I hadn't done yet and it was on the accuplacer (which is mostly super easy tbh but I have been out of school for 9 years). But from the other foundations and other things I did study and practice, this was one of the surprisingly many things I was able to figure out how to do on my own. I love how comprehensive your teaching/learning program is. :)

This took wayyy too long to get to the point and I ended up getting bored, you can't expect teens and children to get this if it takes 5 minutes to finally explain the whole thing. And what if you are adding 3 fractions, or 4? is it the same thing? because If I only see examples of  a simple equation I won't know how to do examples of the more complicated ones because my brain starts freaking out and getting confused because I've never seen a more complicated one being worked before, and i'm sure other people are the same. I just wish my teacher would actually teach me this instead of telling me to check khan academy....
