What is WAF?

W. A. F, or WAF, stands for Web Application Firewall.

Similar to a PC firewall, WAF is like a security gate between your website and the traffic trying to enter it. It inspects all traffic using multi-layered security checkpoints, letting in only the good traffic.

WAF is the most effective way to stop attempts to bring down your site through an overload of fake traffic. These attacks are called Distributed Denial of Service or DDoS.
