However, no one seems to be up in arms about these procedures. Which is crazy. I wish people would pitch a fit about things like this. Nuanced conversations are hard though.

My trans masc appearance goal was David Bowie in Labyrinth. Saw him in that movie when I was 7 and couldn't imagine anyone not wanting to be like him.

The man was wearing tights, knee-high boots, lace cuffs, and the most fabulous eye makeup anyone could ask for AND STILL there was never any doubt that that was a man.

I keep wanting to get a new pair of knee-high boots, but I work so much I don't think I'd have a chance to wear them.

Personally I feel the most annoying sport thing was the volleyball situation because literally their entire reasoning for "clocking" her as trans was that she preferred changing in private. That's completely meaningless, she could have had an eating disorder, general dysmorphia, or just been hiding some kind of medical thing like scarring, it wasn't necessarily about the genitals.

The meme at the beginning kinda sounds like it was originally a bigoted meme that said "trans" on the box and then someone added "phobia" to turn it into a supportive meme.

i’m canadian but i’m a cis bi person and 100% a trans ally so to all the trans and queer people in the US (and in Canada) who are scared and struggling with the state of the world right now know that even though there are tons of transphobic people and transphobic retoric in the world rn there are also tons of people who believe that trans people deserve to be happy and that trans kids deserve to grow old and that trans healthcare does save lives and i know that a lot of people, including cis allies, will continue to fight toward that ❤

Can we all just take a moment to appreciate Jamie? America is going through a really tough time right now, and it’s been hard to keep things positive. Sometimes, everything just feels like a slow trek. But watching these silly little videos, smiling at the latest update, really helps me remember the goodness in humanity. Things can get tough, but it’s little moments like these with the community that make it all feel worth it, okay if just for a little amount of time. Thank you Jamie, for being who you are.
