1:18 Carpathian Ruthenia (Subcarpathian Rus) didn't agree to be annexed. Rusyn representatives agreed to join Czechoslovakia on principle of autonomy (self-rule), which was enshrined into the international agreements (Saint Germaine). Czech leaders never made good their promises of autonomy and also lied to Rusyns about creating borders which would respect ethnic composition of local settlement.
