In 55 question you could just divide 283 by 4, then you get remainder. And then you use it to find the anwer. I think it's a lot easier. Thank you for amazing lesson, teacher. (Sorry, if i have mistakes in my sentences)

for explaing what i^283 u couldve just said that if the number the imaginary unit is to the power of is divisble by 4 then the answer is 1 but if not then see how much u need to take away from it to become divisible by 4 and that would be the answer .For instance, 283 is not a multiple of 4 but 280 is and 283 - 280 is 3 so the answer is i^280(just 1 basically) x i^3 (which is -i) i.e 1 x i^3 = i^3 = -i.
