You should mention, that the Linden Monofin you're using is a youth size! They have an adult size, which gives you a lot of propulsion and also the heel straps are much better (btw having a quick release system) 😉👍

My favorite monofin is definitely the fantasy fin three by mertailor, along with the linden

I have a hydra wave fin (blue) and that swims rather nicely. You can get a blister if you pull the straps a bit too hard. Pretty good one to start with whilst having loads of kicking power as well.

For the Linden, I've noticed its faster to 'shimmy' your feet out then try to take it off with two hands

Plastic mono fins are VERY painful I would recommend neoprene ones. In my opinion the best brands are Planet Mermaid (U.K) and Fin Fun (America)

the mono fins with seperate foot pockets make your legs less "together" and looks weird while swimming.

i don't like the mono fins that have the ridge coming up off your heels. It looks un-natural under the tail.

Aquamermaid does have pretty silicone tails and fabric tails but the monofin is just not a good monofin in my opinion
