Schrödinger's Treason: When you didn't take, accidentally took, innocently used, declassified and then took, took and then declassified, the documents that you never took and were illicitly planted in your house by the FBI - all simultaneously. - David Reiss

I distinctly remember someone leading the "Lock her up!" chants also saying "If I had done 1/10 of those things, I would be in jail!"

So their *defense* is “we totally looked but had no idea where all those Top Secret documents were?” What makes that any less scary or irresponsible?

"It's not the crime, it's the cover-up." They'll never learn.

Why wouldn't I keep them next to my passports, when I flee the country I want everything at the ready.

How the judge rules on this tells us a whole lot more about the judge than anything else. Either the judge is following the law, or not.

My friends from Germany are following this story like a prime-time soap opera...

"I didn't take them!" "They were planted" "If I did take them, which I didn't, I declassified them!" "I didn't take them, but they're MINE, and I want 'em back! "

"This was not just extreme carelessness with classified material, which is still totally disqualifying. This is calculated, deliberate, premeditated, misconduct. Followed by a cover-up." ~Donald Trump (July 2016)
Thank God we had a former president who took this stuff so seriously that he signed a law that puts people committing these sorts of crimes away in federal prison for a minimum of 5-years. 😁

Boy, I sure feel better. It's so good to know that if any of us gets a grand jury subpoena we can just say, sure, okay and go about our business, 'cause we are all treated the same under the law. Right?

Why he’s not in jail at this very moment is beyond me. He was caught red handed stealing Top Secret documents and Obstructing Justice. I agree, let his supporters riot, throw them in jail if the do too

Why was Jared given a security clearance when he wasn't even eligible for one???!!!! Why did SA give Jared $2B??!!! Why were the Saudis at his golf tournament?

That lawyer opened herself up for perjury charges by signing off on that statement that all the documents had been turned over. The worst is she will probably never get paid.

Let us not make Trump the untouchable. Let the Prosecutions begin.

The pertinent question seems to be whether there were more documents to begin with, but some of those may have already been handed over to parties unknown for purposes unknown, which may or may not come up in the investigation on account of "holes" in the document register (assuming there is one, there always was one back in my own military years).

I’d like former presidents that don’t commit high treason…

What would happen if you or I had this in our house. Case closed!

where I come from this is called stealing-and the person doing it is a Thief> person who steals another person's property, especially by stealth and without using force or violence
