Thanks Jerry! We've had a 64kWh Essence for 16 days now, and have put around 1, 800km on it. It's good to have you confirm that we are doing things right. We have a 16A caravan outlet in our garage, and use a portable charger set at 16A - it puts 3.5kW into the car. It is always back up to 80% by the time we need to use the car in the morning. This car is simply superb to drive. 😀

Thanks Jerry. It’s great to have an audiovisual presentation of so many things that the manual doesn’t include (and if it does it often manages to hide it). Your revelation of the variable AC current inputs is a game changer for those with a 7kw charger and solar panels. If the sun is not optimal or more appliances are being used, it’s great to have a charging option midway between trickle and 7kw.
