Scientists say Africa is peeling apart into two parts that will eventually lead to the formation of a new ocean.

Although experts say it could take a long time, Africa will eventually tear in two parts. Due to the separation, the Gulf of Aden and the Red Sea will flood over and create a new ocean. Experts say East Africa will even eventually become its own separate small continent.
