Windows 10 throws up a dazzling array of error messages and stop codes when things go wrong. When a blue screen of death (BSOD) error hits, you can use the Windows stop code to pinpoint and fix the issue.

At times, stop codes issue for very specific errors. At other times, you might have to work through a range of Windows 10 fixes. The Windows 10 “Memory Management” stop code involves the latter.

In this article, we help you resolve your memory management BSODs, one fix at a time.

How does this compare to running Memtest, or Memtest86? I'm running into critical kernel-power error event-ID 41 task category 63. The bugcheck values are all zero and it never leaves any dump files, never goes into BSOD (even though I have automatic reboot unchecked) - the computer just reboots itself at any sign of strain (usually multiple times when I first boot it up, but again at 'random' times if I try to run a game). I'm trying to troubleshoot and this check didnt find any memory errors. I've ruled out a lot of what it can't be: my other Linux OS on another drive is also affected by this problem, so I'm sure its not Windows-specific. Is there any other troubleshooting I can run to figure out what the problem is?

My laptop display doesn’t go on although I can display the computer on an external monitor. I ran the memory diagnostic test and for a few minutes my laptop display and the external monitor were working. Then both displays went blank. I rebooted the computer and I could get a display only on the external monitor. Any advice about this would be appreciated.

0:21 have you sped that up??? mine's been sitting (stopped?) at 5% on the first test for the past hour. does that mean my memory is cactus? the ESC key won't get me out of the test either.
