Conversational Words and Phrases in the Greek Bible (Part I)
Greetings; Useful Conversation Questions; What’s your name? Who are you?
How are you? Where are you from? Where do you live? Where is the toilet?

Χαῖρε and χαίρετε are second person (you) singular and plural imperatives and mean "rejoice!" but they are also used as everyday greetings (hello, hi) even today in Modern Greek.
διψῶ = I'm thirsty πεινῶ = I’m hungry

This video is a treasure. And using the living, traditional pronunciation of Greek!

Excellent video! I was looking forward to something like this. I teach Biblical Greek in a seminary, and I consider this a very didactic tool that helps me motivate students to learn Biblical Greek as if it were a living language. Great work. By the way, fortunately you use the same pronunciation that I do. Greetings from Mexico.
