I am saving up for the Visconti Mythos Aphrodite pen; but, I think you are correct about the Apollo. Seeing it in your hand, I think that is a really nice looking brown pen.

I am not a fan of red pens but I made an exception with the Kaweco Al Sport in Ruby. Such a soft ruby colour and looks great inked with Pilot Yama Budo. I am delighted to see the Kaweco Al Sport in Iguana Blue and Lamy Studio in Black in your list. 😊

Hey Drew. Great choices. I really like my Visconti Mirage Mythos Apollo.
It is a beautiful caramel like color. I also have one. I even switched out the original nib, and put in a steel nib from a Faber Castell.

I would like to suggest a challenge to Goulet to do this list again but with pens under $50 and each pen type can only be mentioned once. So no flooding the list with TWSBI or Lamy Safaris. With permission I’ll draw up my own list and we can compare notes?

*Black - Fabre Castell E-motion (matte black)
*Blue - gotta love the Sailor Northern Lights Goulet pen exclusive. (first gold nib) or Diplomat nexus blue is a beautiful new edition.
*the diplomat magnum is ridiculously good for such a cheap plastic pen.

Please do this for inks as well. But one edition for sheen, one for shimmer and one for „plain“!
