In this video, we'll look at the census numbers of each book listed in the Overstreet Price Guide's Top 50 Silver Age Comics. We'll explore the 10 most hard-to-find comics. A few are actually scarcer than some major golden age keys! (gasp)

Would be curious to see same list with additional parameters - books where say a 2.0 has an FMV of $1, 000+ some of these low census books are low as the FMV is low.

Hi. As we discussed before, the rarest SA comics according to the CGC census are the Marvel U.K. Price Variants (which exist in tiny quantities for almost every Marvel SA key). They are so "out of sight, out of mind" that many folks still mistake them for foreign reprints, instead of what they are--a tiny subset of the original print run that was set aside for travel across the Atlantic Ocean to the UK. Existing mostly in low double-digits for most issues (even when the cents version number in the thousands of slabs), the UKPVs are much scarcer than all the Showcase issues you discussed, too.

Seems like the least popular comics are more scarce too. Could that be why ant man and the DC comics are less likely to be sent into CGC or collected. So there’s less of them. Compared to amazing Spider-Man Xmen etc?

But isnt this also a question of popularity? No disrespect to those dc titles, but if they were more popular (or valuable), wouldnt that drive owners to have them slabbed to increase their potential resell value? Slabbed = added to census
