KC took time out of his schedule to visit us on the NATO base in Keflavik, Iceland in the year 2000. (He was on a salmon fishing trip I think.) He played in a softball game with us and hit two of the longest dingers I’ve ever seen in a softball game. He’s got game. Hell of a nice guy.

I had heard/read somewhere that Kurt Russell was also in the running for that part, which is interesting since he actually played professional baseball at the A and AA level

to hit two balls out at BP with a bunch of professional players watching you when you've never hit a home run in little league or pony ball or American legion or H.S. is pretty damn amazing!!!

Anyone who LOVES blue collar, salt of the Earth, Westerns and Neo-Westerns… if you boycott “Horizon” because of Kevin’s exit to Yellowstone, you’re part of the problem and why the genre is dying off.

Coming from a College pitcher that could hit, Kevin looked like ball player.
For Love of the Game is my favorite because it was about a pitcher . He looked 'legit'(and I hate that word).
The only thing I wish they didn't do in that movie was SAYING 'clear the mechanism'. They should have just done it and left it at that because that is what happens when you pitch. You see the catcher and the batter and that's it. That zoning in sequence was phenomenal. That is what hooked me on that movie.

Love Costner!!! But man has he aged. It really makes me sad that great stars like Costner, Ford, Selleck, and many others I grew up watching are in the twilights of their great careers. And what really sucks is there's nobody coming up the pike that can carry their jockstraps.

I’ve yet to watch a tv show or movie Kevin Costner has been involved with I didn’t thoroughly enjoy 👍🏻👍🏻🍿

I remember when there was a retired players all-star game . Then Costner got involved, took over the game . Then it all ended !
