Prof Robert E Kelly has returned to BBC News to talk about his unexpected viral fame last week, when his children crashed his live TV interview to the amusement of millions of people who later watched the clip. Prof Kelly, an expert on South Korea, was joined in the follow-up video with his wife, Jung-a Kim and children Marion and James.
He confirmed to the BBC's James Menendez that he was, despite online speculation, wearing trousers during the interview.

We want more things like this to happen. It makes us more human and less robots. The children's entrance is VERY COOL. Blessed Family.

If he's abusive, the child wouldn't even walk in, dancing at his side... he's completely embarrassed that's why.

She's an amazing wife and amazing mom. Lots of respect for her.

I love how the eldest child came dance-marching in with such joy and then the little came in behind her, just rolling in the baby walker 😂❤️

He seems like a caring dad and loving husband. He never interrupted his wife or spoke for her. And the kids are adorable!

Love the fact he gazes at his wife and waits for her to answer the questions or waits for her to finish her sentences even if she is struggling. Don’t like when people interrupt those that can’t speak English fluently

He thought he would never get called again but his kids made them one of the most beloved families on earth!

I don't get why people keep on saying that he looks abusive. their daughter wouldn't have come in on the home office with so much confidence if he was as controlling as you claim to be and she obviously prefers to speak in korean so you could tell that korean is the first language at home. Even though she speaks great english, the wife wasn't comfortable speaking in english so she keeps on looking at her husband for reassurance. if you've equated the horrid look on her face on the first video for fear of taking a beating from her husband, then you've clearly haven't had an embarrassing child blunder experience in your life.

I wonder why people would think she was the nanny. The kids clearly look like her.

The timing is what makes the clip comedy gold. It's a perfect 1, 2, 3 and watching Dad's face gradually drop from professional confidence to complete resignation as each wave breaks could not have been represented any better by the best actor who ever lived. Anyone with kids knows exactly what is going through their minds as it happens. Commando Mom is a hero!

I love how he constantly looks to her to answer the question instead of feeling the need to answer the questions themselves or feeling the need to finish her sentences just because he's the native English speaker. So much respect there ❤️

Omg, that baby wriggling about was exhausting to watch, the wife definitely deserves a spa day.

What a sweet family. I feel badly that this adorable situation caused them discomfort and stress.

I love how the babies are all over the place, just being themselves. Fun to watch. Lovely family.

"...my wife deserves a medal for taking care of us and taking care of our family, that's absolutely true..."
That's an appreciative husband right there.
👍

I think they are a great representation of a real family and what we deal with raising children while being on zoom. I love them for keeping it real. Keep loving each other and your children. Enjoy your lives and don't feed into the negative people. Loved it. Loved mom's reaction when coming into the room, I would have done the same thing.
