Donate these wind turbines to West Africa, lots of wind very little power. With all the water, oil & coal we have in our country we don't need to go green crazy.

So how are you going to solve the high hydro rates? Not enough to rip the wind turbines out of the ground cancel the green energy plan . There are a lot of other issues . By the way Tanya those turbines have a 500 ton base the tractor just will not pull them out of the ground. Plus you can bet long term contracts are going to be very hard to get out of with solar and wind turbine companies . Give the public a specific plan on how you would get hydro rates under control .How about a reciprocal agreement with Hydro Quebec .Buy power from them in the summer sell nuclear power to them in the winter . A cost sharing with hydro Quebec and Hydro One on the reversing line . A Hydrogen plant to store excess power made by nuclear plants that can be fed back into the Ontario grid when needed ? Think, does Ontario have to make all it's own power ? If there is a cheaper way why not do it . How about pension protection for employees ? We just saw the mess Sears made of employees pensions and benefits . How about auto insurance rates in Ontario ? Government insurance ? Why do Quebec residents pay 1/2 half the price Ontario residents do? I have heard the Ontario has a spending problem not an income problem story before . But give me more innovative ways you are going to attract business to locate in Ontario. Tanya you want to cancel sex education in schools and replace it with what, get specific . Ever look at the stats in Ontario on young unwed mothers ? It is a major problem in Ontario. Doctors making self conscious issues . What happens if a young girl want the morning after pill and her doctors says no, plus no referral ? Okay seniors are taking up hospital beds needed in hospitals .Christine some of these seniors can't afford the rates of the full care facilities, that is why they are still in the hospitals . Doug excellent point reduce the administration in school boards . The job of educators is to educate, look at what other provinces are doing also to reduce administration staff. Perhaps in rural areas you do not need two school boards ? Good idea Doug on no tax paid by low income people .On pensions just look at the sweetheart deal Ontario Hydro employees get .They contribute almost nothing to their pensions and get really large pensions .Doug very good point the liberals are buying votes with recent announcements, minimum wage, increased drug plan, implement pay equity. Can the province afford these programs right now . Lots of rhetoric but short on specifics in the debate .

The reason doctors are leaving Canada is because they can make more money in the US and Europe. They also don't want to respect our medical system. Every country is different and you can't expect to use your training in another country and view it as its equivalent in another country. It shouldn't work that way anywhere. Our government should be offering incentives to Canadians to become doctors.... Our school system has issues with the qualifications of teachers. Most don't have Bachelor of education degrees despite being knowledgeable of what there teaching. You can be knowledgeable at math but the key is being able to communicate that knowledge to students. I'm not sure what government changed the rules around that. Maybe Harper. Regardless, it was a big mistake.

There are too many trucks on the highways also, get those train moving goods across long distances, the roads are being torn up by excessive traffic with heavy loads. Construction is never ending it seems on the 401 and 400 for instance, that's got to be costing the tax payers a fortune.

What kind of tractor does Tanya Granic Allen have that can tear down a wind turbine? I admire her gumption but I'm having visions of a wind turbine falling on her! Maybe try dynamite? Or can't they be resold and moved? Someone might want one of those suckers.

Let's get rid of the eyesore 1910 electric streetcars in Toronto, what an embarrassment for Canada. They've served their purpose, let's get new and more efficient technology in service and phase out the dinosaurs, it got to cost a fortune just maintaining those rails.

Too bad Mulroney didnt take the time, people need to hear more from her to better understand her ideas for Ontario. I think it will end up being between Ford and Elliot. Allen has been an interesting addition to this race with a different point of view.
