Former President Bill Clinton discussed debt, deficit, economic growth and inequality Wednesday with Gwen Ifill. The discussion was part of the 2014 Fiscal Summit sponsored by the Peterson Foundation in Washington, D.C.
Mr. Clinton also answered questions on other topics like immigration, Benghazi and his wife's health. He touted the benefits of the Affordable Care Act but said that Democrats should acknowledge its problems while highlighting its strengths.
"Nobody could have done this perfectly," Clinton said, and suggested that Democrats start on a "long-term repair process" for the law.
