unFUN FACT: 1:49 - Rick Perry, the man who couldn't remember the name of the "agency of government" he wanted to eliminate, is now the head of said department. At the time (4 years before being nominated), his excuse for wanting to eliminate the Department of Energy was that he actually had no idea what it really did in 2012. I guess a man can learn enough about thermonuclear dynamics in a very short time...

The 1992 and 2000 debate moments especially appeal to me with both involving a newspaper article being used in each. The Clinton-Brown face-off looks more traditional with podiums moderated by an actual journalist and a panel of other journalists while the Bush-McCain one looks more unusual on a talk show table moderated by a talk show host.
