So I just looked up what Elegy means. My entire perspective on this song has shifted!

This and Monody have deeper meanings than you'd expect.

I like how at the end he made the voice clear and shows us what they actually sang throughout the song, and as it goes the voice gets even clearer. Made us more realize that we've been actually rickrolled the whole entire time

I listened to this song religiously perhaps 2 years ago when I was very depressed and lonely. I was in my room and spending my free hours cubing and watching Star Wars: the clone wars.

I was very sad back then for some reason. But I enjoyed doing what I was doing by myself.

When I hear this song I am reminded of that period now. It makes me sad because of how content I was yet also depressed.

It makes me happy that I can listen to this song in a much better phase of life - I have friends. I am alive. I have God. Keep pushing through the bad times because at one point you will remember how meaningful they were to you.

" and it was hard for her to accept that, she didn't want to be alone in a world without her friend she had since she was little. She never wanted to let go.
