I was having the same issue with dollars catching when trying to put them in on the go (wrap style). I ordered another one and asked Michael if he could make mine with that back flap going straight across. He obliged and it works a lot better!

Great video Mark, I definitely like my houbei definitely my favorite wallet I’ve had even better than the stow/xsto wallet ( I myself liked the small footprint but wasn’t too keen on having to fold the cash twice to get it in wallet )

I've had a Houbei for 9 months now - it takes up to the £20 note as a wrap without folding and is the highest capacity wallet I have. It's also the easiest to use. The bit that catches wider notes is the stitching - if you fold it, turn it sideways and it will fit better.

Kinda wish the didn’t change the name, the German name sounds really really cool. I love how they have that contrasting white stitching and that green piece of leather as well. Really cool looking. This isn’t my kind of wallet for my carry but I appreciate the technique and skill of it

I’ve got the Topsider Quickdraw in Italian Shell. Amazing wallets. This guy is a genius. I have to fold the long side of our £20 notes so that’s a bind. Great wallets from Michael 🤩👍🏻

I think it's worth noting that Michael will do custom versions of this for different currencies - he offered to do one for British currency for $100, which isn't much higher than normal (I find that British notes fit fine in the normal version though - could use maybe 3-5mm more width)
