I've had a big male dogo. He was a serious dog, probably an alpha male. Very quite and gentle in the house, but never backed down. Unfortunately, he got into several fights against big dogs. It didn't look good. I have been to training classes twice a week, because I knew I wasn't experimented at that time. He attacked someone who tried to break in, luckily the person had the time to close the door quickly. This is a serious breed that need experienced owners, because they are unstoppable.

I have a lot of respect for both of these powerful breeds. This is just speculation, and I am curious if anyone noticed or agrees, but the friction seemed to arise with how the Rottweiler approached the dogo. He went directly to his face, and the dogo seemed to interpret this as disrespectful and reacted strongly as if to say “get the heck outta my face” Now, looking back at the 2 dogs (and not knowing age) it does seem as if the dogo is younger. So maybe the rottie was being overly dominant on purpose cause he didn’t like the dogo’s attitude. Rottie might have felt entitled to a lil more respect than the dogo was giving. And the dogo (being a dogo) was not willing to be anything but serious. I enjoy watching animal behavior and I am still trying to learn, so this is just a simple interpretation of this video- and based on limited facts/knowledge.

I like how the rottweiler forgets about it in a second and is distracted by the grass 😂

Dogos are flat out impressive. Fearless.

I‘d be more afraid of the dogo than the Rottweiler 😂

That's just dog aggression, and it's normal in those breeds especially if they the same sex... It's normal and shouldn't be looked at in a bad way. Us owners of dogs just need to recognize that before things happen... It's normal it's mastiff breeds, Rottweilers, etc..just don't be an idiot and let them fight.. you wanna correct both dogs if they show dog aggression..

Knew there was gonna be trouble just by seeing how stiff the Dogo's front legs got.

The dogo owner should've corrected when he became stiff. Then a second later he licks his lips, there's you're second sign he's going to attack.

A fully grown. Rottweiler would never beat an adult dogo argentino and that's a promise dogo argentinos where bred to take on pumas in the mountains of argentina

Unless those dogs were needing to be together, I can't think of a reason to introduce them. They are pack animals, so why put them in a position to rank unnecessarily.

This the a great sign of two very responsible owners. O excess emotions... Let the dogs settle I. Each others space. We must always challenge our dogs... Good work guys

They were both wagging. They didn't want to hurt each other. It was a dominance display.

Rott much smarter and better guardian dog, Dogo more resistant created for hunting and fighting.

Dogos are beast and bred for purpose of hunting and they are the best when it comes to attack and ferociousness ... haven’t seen any other dog pulling down the wild boar like they do ... Ferrari of dog world 👍

Si al Dogo lo sociabilizan desde cachorro con otros canes, nunca puede reaccionar así.
