Powerful car on the open road & has the weight & low profile sitting on a medium size frame makes you feel like your riding down the open road in a concrete block. You'd never believe how solid & road worthy this car feels, even over 100 mph. Top Luxury in it's day that carries over to today. While I previously owned a 65 hardtop, I bought & still now own both a red 1964 & blue 1965 convertibles which are a bit heavier than the hardtop. With four bucket style seats and a fantastic looking interior this was the top personal luxury car of it's day and still pretty impressive, even today. PS: I also bought a burgundy 2005 two seater retro Thunderbird which also has that neat recognizable T-Bird look, including a removable porthole hardtop..

Bought one for 4 grand awesome car sadly had to sell it due to financial issues but was a lovely ride during the time, I also loved the adjustable steering wheel.

Anybody saying this is fake go and read Richards book it proves how hard working and down to earth he is and how hard he worked to get Gas Monkey to where it is now. I dont really like the new aspects of the show but ive got a hell of a lot of respect for Richard

I bought my 65 a few months ago for $500. Yes that's a 5 with 2 zeros after it. It's not in horrible shape but I hope to make it presentable again
