‘Most shameful manifesto in Australian journalism’: Andrew Bolt lashes the media

Sky News host Andrew Bolt has hit out at the Australian journalists who signed a letter demanding media outlets treat Israel as a “genocidal state”.

“Last week 165 Australian journalists issued the most shameful manifesto in Australian journalism,” Mr Bolt said.

“These journalists ordered the immediate to give adequate coverage, in their view, to the supposed ‘war crimes, genocide, ethnic cleansing and apartheid’ … they obviously meant Israel.

“Not once did they attack Hamas like this – which is in fact genocidal.

“They demand the media treat Israel’s leaders as no more trustworthy than those of Hamas.”

Mr Bolt is joined by writer Tony Thomas to discuss the controversial move.

They r happy in Aus, Eng, Fra, Germany, Italy, sweden, USA, Canada &Norway.
They r happy in all non islamic countries and who do they blame?Not islam, not their leaders, not themselves.They blame the country they r happy in .And they want to change the countries they're happy in to be like the country that they came from where they were unhappy.

What those media outlets should do in response, is advertise that 165 journalist positions just became available.

40 years ago, I and many Iranians have seen and experienced that there is no such thing as a free press, media or news outlets. "free" is the color of their glasses. left right, middle and so on. I remember so clearly how the BBC and the other media lied and lied about what was going on in my country. it was on the verge of unrecognizability. we simply could not recognize our own country in their interpretation of events, and the Iranian sentiment, and we looked like a question mark. is it us, is it what is happening in iran they are talking about? what. we ourselves not only we will never forget how the BBC and CO promoted the KHOMENI molah and how much they have spread lies about the shah and his regime. the uncanny thing is to see that it is precisely the same thing that is happening in relation to Israel's and Hamas's war.

Why can’t the news just tell the facts of both sides and keep their personal opinions to themselves? Why do any of the media think we need or want their opinions? We want to know what is going, facts so we can decide for ourselves what we decide of things ? Hollywood and the media just think everyone needs them to tell us what to think. I simply cannot tolerate the ABC journalism any longer so several months ago I simply deleted the ABC channels on my TV. I refuse to listen or watch the ABC journalistic biased garbage any longer.

Well im with Israel but i do think both sides lie alot ! Not really an aussie problem - best those that want to be heard should be sent there ! Aussies are bloody sick of the tit for tat protests - it aint aussie and politicians esp greens are woful bunch, maybe piss them off also be gd idea folks
