Homeschool Curriculum Unboxing 2020-2021 School Year / BJU Press / Unboxing / The Absolute Mom

Exciting day today - unboxing our homeschool curriculum! This is what we will be using for K4 (preschool), K5 (kindergarten), and 5th grade for the 2020-2021 homeschool year! We decided this year to change up what we were doing and went with whole grade kits through BJU Press (Bob Jones University Press). We will be doing both the DVDs and the DLO (distance learning online).

i struggle to homeschool my 13 year old with his Math work lol but I also do not do this full time, YOU are really good at this stuff. Are you ready for when your 5th grader hits 7th grade? that will be a challenge but maybe not for you, you handle this stuff super well! Great mom and teacher you are :)

How did you know which grade to put your daughter in when you started BJU distance learning? I am going to do that this year and not sure where to place her?

I'm starting preschool with my newly turned 3 year old twin boys. What was your experience in teaching at the same time vs individually? I realize that it could be distracting, but they are still only 3 and since both have different strengths, I thought maybe they could feed off each other's strengths. At times trying to do lessons at the same time as they fight over what they already each have.
