I've genuinely never seen a character put in so much work in a One Piece arc than Crocodile in Marineford. Saved Ace, threw hands with Mihawk, Doflamingo, and Akainu, and was willing to fight Whitebeard.

personally I think Jinbei also deserves mention for marineford. He stuck by luffy as much as he could, fought the other seven warlords (yeah mihawk was filler but he did fight moria). sent luffy over the wall. Tanked Akainu more than anyone other than whitebeard and marco. Carried luffy's unconscious body from the battlefield from Akainu. got speared through the stomach with lava and did his best to make sure luffy got hit the least and then as they landed repositioned himself so that he would fall onto the ice to not cause luffy anymore damage and then tried to fight Akainu. The man was loyal and determined for the whole arc

If Bon Clay somehow also made it to Marineford Ace would still be alive. Idk how he’d help in such a way to make that happen but he’d do it because he is a legend

Marineford is MVP galore. Mr. 3, Whitebeard, Jimbei, Ivankov, Shanks, Law, Little Oars Jr., Boa Hancock, Marco, Crocodile, freaking Koby dude xD Amazing arc full of memorable moments

I forgot just how deep Mr.3’s character goes. He went from a gag to one of the most respectable named agents from Baroque works. The line about honoring Bon by being at Marineford just hits so hard
