Make Solaria sound human - Basic tutorial

Показать описание
In this basic tutorial I will show you how to use the AI-voice Solaria on Synthesizer V to make her sound like a natural Human singer.

NOTICE: The functions and interface of Synthesizer V Pro have changed since the update to version 1.9.1. If you want to use the random seed function, you first have to go into the Note properties menu and select "Manual" instead of "Sing" as Pitch mode.

The free voice of Solaria Lite can be downloaded here:

Multi-syllable words usually sound more natural when written "(natural)(+)(+)" instead of "(nat)(tur)(al)", and if you can get away with "(natural)" the transitions flow best. I find it's best to micromanage syllables _only_ when something isn't working, especially if you're duplicating lyrics for an alto, tenor, etc, ... Otherwise you're forcing your newest, most adaptive voice packs to behave the same as the oldest and potentially missing out on a more natural, default performance.

What I'm struggling with these days is tempo changes, and swing-to-triplet Jazz timings without doing everything on a 1/128 grid.

I've downloaded an evaluation copy, but I can't work out how to activate a voice. I have downloaded one, but nothing I do works, and so the controls for play, voice, etc do not show on the screen. Any suggestions gratefully received as I am totally frustrated.

Another interesting video that I really enjoyed watching. As a composer for TV and film, I find it most natural to work out my Synth V melodies on a keyboard rather than drawing them onto the piano roll.
Once i have my singing melody recorded as midi in my DAW i simply use the “export midi” function in my DAW and then import that midi file into Synth V. Up it comes, quantized with proper note durations and ready to begin humanizing in Synth V.

Cheers and keep the good videos coming!

Very interesting world we live in, I would not mind AI vocals in my songs if I can afford it. Thank you for the video.

Hi! I’m watching this and loving it. Unfortunately I bought Synth V pro and have no idea how to learn how to use it. Do you have a recommendation for a tutorial series that is clear and structured to learn the basic’s logically. Thanks

Great explanation. I struggle always with SynthV - actual I try to cover a Song (to train my Music by ear) and I will nail the vocals with synthV. Thank you. Greetings from Cologne, Germany.

Hi. Another awesome tutorial, really really helpful. Sorry to bother again but could you help with a few words I just can't figure out by myself:

04:33 ___ centered in the middle of the note.

And regarding the transforming singing tools mentioned in an earlier comment, any thoughts about them?
