I have some tips (helps for chapter 1, 2 and 3)
#1 if the monster is VERY close to you, do NOT try to outrun, hide immediately
#2 if the monster is near you and you're hiding, don't leave until you see no static and you hear nothing
#3 make sure to collect all paintbrushes!
#4 if you die, don't worry! your paintbrushes will save, but not your color unless you have revives
#5 spin the wheel everyday and get your daily revive! the wheel contains useful items such as shoes and lives, the shoes actually really help me
#6 if the monster is near you but you don't have a color, hide in one of the color doors you're able to access or hide in the extra hiding places
#7 in chapter 2, there's a little monster that hops around and can take away your color, hide immediately if it does cause it can attract the monster causing you to get killed.
THE LIL MONSTER IS ONLY IN CHAPTER 2 AND NOT IN CHAPTER 1 AND 3 SO DONT WORRY
