That job should open up soon Chauncey. SVG time will expire as soon as we are mathematically eliminated from playoff contention (which will happen soon)

We'd welcome him back with open arms in Detroit! Something needs to change with the Pistons ASAP!

He is saying it's 100% false, but he doesnt know if the Pistons are indeed interested in him. Its false to say they have spoken to Chauncey.

Always awkward when they put him in that position knowing he can’t speak on it. Stan is still in that role.

It would be a smart move because STG can't be both GM and Coach...

SVG has done a good job upgrading the talent on the roster (mostly via trade). Unfortunately his constant nagging and bitching wears thin on grown men and his tendency to put the team on blast in the media isn't something a thing the coach of a young team should do. Also, he and his front office have had some horrible misses (Devin Booker, Donovan Mitchell) in the draft and SVG has done little to develop the players the guys he picked instead. Ultimately though I think the players just start tuning him out after awhile, like you tune out your parents when they tell you shit you already know a million times lol. (Andre has a youtube video where he describes playing for Van Gundy like "playing for your parents" and I don't think he meant it in a positive way.
