I'm sorry I haven't been listening to Aaron Lewis all these years... I recently heard his latest hit, "Am I the only one.." and was floored by this mans voice... i listened to Staind back in the day, but had no idea what a tremendous country singer he had become!!. It lead me to subscribe and listen to all the great songs he has written and performed..I'm loving every single one...What a gift he has!

Michigan here, you hit the nail on the head. Carhartt is a MI company. The White Tailed deer is our state animal and is on our state flag. Hunting is huge here fishing is even bigger. We have lakes in spades. We buy American trucks and cars because we make them right here.

I grew up on metal and rock and never gave country a try until I was about 20. This dude writes some pretty good stuff, considering the cookie-cutter Trashville shit on the radio now a days. Oh, and those looking for Staind to get back together and tear it up, Aaron is in his 40's now. I am 35 and couldn't imagine getting back into a metal band again. I got a mortgage and kids. You get older and though you may still be pissy enough, you find more constructive ways to unleash your anger, such as mowing the yard and shooting a few rounds into a milk jug while slugging back on some Yuengling. Aaron picked up an acoustic and got sober. Way to go Aaron!
