I'm in Gwynedd North Wales & we already have 2 dogs we are now getting another dog (rescued) to give 2 fingers to Cardiff. No farmers no food simple ! but obviously it's too difficult for labour to grasp..

I wasn't aware of Welsh politics until lockdown, which made he- who- should- be- quickly- forgotten (MD) famous. My town friendly farming hat arrived just in time to wear around town for the protests, hopefully it will inspire some checkout queue conversations.

I completely agree with your assessment about the government position. What you need is to make townies turn against the government on this one. Would have to make them worry about getting kicked out of cities, (hence my choice of clear, non confrontational headgear slogan).

I got kicked out a cafe in Crickhowell cos I had my long legged Jack Russell with me..well behaved, no begging n a generally good egg
Saw a couple (not local n of another religion ) go to the counter..next thing I was out .
