This was awesome to see b/c Sir Charles is a straight arrow. Only pushback I would give was regarding growing up in NYC. I grew up in the South Bronx. Each block was like a small town. So we had the small town feels when it came down to helping each other in the ‘hood & handing things down. He’s not familiar with it, so not holding it against his commentary. I appreciate you Sir Charles!!! Would love to talk to him in person.

The point about defense is so true. Even more so for defensive plays that aren’t highlights. No one shows a guy fighting over a screen and busting up a play because the offensive player was expecting a double team to open up a pass. No one shows perimeter defenders sending their man towards help or verticality to make a shot tougher. If they make the job harder for the offensive player, then it was just as effective as a steal or block but won’t get any attention.
