The beats audio on the One X refers to the sound chip that's inside the One X, not to the headphones it's shipped with, although if you buy the phone in America, Canada or England you don't even get the beats headphones with it

A lot of things have changed from July 2012 and I think the Htc One X has aged better than the s3

You are completely wrong about that. Go to the google search I provided, it gives you the technical details of the One X. There is no special sound chip. It uses SoC on the S4 processor for sound.

The touch sensor is laminated to the glass on the ONE X so the digitizer doesn't register touches that well. Regardless if the UI is slick, if it doesn't even know you pressed there, its gonna lag.

I knew you were gonna reply this. Let me clarify then, my friend owned the GS3 and my other friend owned a One X. I played with both of them extensively and went ahead and bought myself a GS3 because its bootloader is already unlocked so I could install AOSP on it without having to unlock the bootloader, install custom recovery, flash rom/kernel, and lose my data in the process.

No the US version has a dual core qualcom snapdragon s4 processor and the international has the quad core...we dont get quad core over here bc of LTE compatability i believe...so the s3 and the one x have the same processor here in USA

Why? I really like the direction they're taking with allowing users to replace the battery and expand storage.
