Valentine's morning 2024 my closest friend age 34 (known for over 15 year) passed away from being run down by a truck. This song really hits home right now.

We were always there for each other if either one needed a listening ear or advice. We imagined we would grow old and still be there to talk about the old times. I'll miss you man, RIP Andres V

It's funny how the opening part of this song is from Falling on Deaf Ears, but lyrically the song is very much similar (albeit from a non-spiritual/afterlife angle) to Mourning Sickness.
