I was struggling with some huge anxiety about a career change. Couldn’t sleep. I got the job, I should be feeling peaceful, I should feel joyous. But that voice in my head keeps saying “Danielle, you’re not gonna be good enough. You’re gonna fail. You’re gonna make a fool of yourself.”
And I thought this morning I needed to get out of my head and go on a bike ride. And on my bike ride I thought, you know what I need even MORE? My GOD. So I looked up a bible meditation. Clicked this one and the first words were no coincidence…
God spoke straight to me.
Now I know and have always known not to listen to that negative voice in my head but when it’s so consistent, the only thing that pulls me out is you Lord. Thank you for always being there, thank you for reminding me getting out of my comfort zone is good, spreading my wings to fly, and proving myself wrong by showing myself just how capable I am.
