Normal sudoku rules apply. Divide each line into non-overlapping segments, each of which sums to 6. A clue outside the grid is the sum of the digits sandwiched between the 1 and the 9 in the corresponding row/column. Cages show their sums.

600k is possible because you guys put in hard work to make this channel, and it shows! Congrats!

If a channel about writing numbers into squares can get 600k subs, what if you somehow added kittens to the formula?

When this was first released as part of the 600k pack, I solved it in 45 minutes, (according to the software). I wasn't going to be deprived of my morning puzzle fix, so I thought I'd see how much I'd improved in the intervening time and tackle it again.

60 minutes 😔.

Most of that was sorting out the sandwich in column 2. Looking for an elegant way forward, but eventually giving up and bifurcating through it anyway.

55:48 was my time with a little help from the video. Congrats on 600k!

Finished in 23:47, I'm always super impressed when a theme works so well all throughout without feeling forced. Great way to start the day ^^

24:10 ... this was fun to solve

Nice tribute to 600K!

One million is possible too. Might take years, but you'll get there and it will be absolutely deserved.

I loved that and managed it in 48 minutes, then watched Mark's solve. Interestingly I took a very different path to Mark as I worked on the upper left area clearing that up first.

You can actually get 9 in r8c2 already in 13:42. If 1 was in r6c2, it would mean that the cage in r6-7c3 would be (4, 2) eliminating the possibility of 6 sum in r7-8c2.

This one took me just over 26 minutes on my final attempt but well over an hour in total as I kept messing up. I found it very difficult.

Congratulations… I just released a video on my channel celebrating 600 subscribers… so I guess I have a little work ahead of me…😜

A 9 in r9c2 would force the sandwich to be 2 cells in r7r8c2 and both of the 6 cages to be 1-5 and that's not going to work.

FAQ:
Q1: You missed something!
A1: That could very well be the case! Human speech can be hard to understand for computers like me! Point out the ones that I missed and maybe I'll learn!
Q2: Can you do this for another channel?
A2: I've been thinking about that and wrote some code to make that possible. Let me know which channel you think would be a good fit!

You mentioned a couple of times that the bottom of column 2 could be 1(24)9, but that doesn't work as it stops either 6 cage from being 2, 4 (and they cannot both be 1, 5 pairs).

Edit: You spotted it right after I commented

32:43 finish. I had a bit of a penciling snafu, when I missed a possible option on the right-hand zero line. I wound up with a major rewind, but when the solve was finished, I realized that I only had needed to swap the 3 and 5 on the line to make it work. Oops!

21:35 why 6 cant be on r4c1? 3 on r4c3 can be together with 1 r5c2 and 2 r3c2...
