Spotlight Search is how you search for anything on your Mac.

How To Use Spotlight Search:
1. cmd + spacebar
2. start typing for file, folder…

How to View File Path & Open:
1. Hold the Command Key and look to bottom
2. With cmd key pressed, tap the letter R

CMD+R no longer works in Big Sur :/ Finder will open still but not from the enclosing folder if you are using "Columns" as the viewing mode in Finder.

Cmd+R doesn't work, i am using Mojave . any other commands that might work ?

Doesn't seem to work in Mojave. Someone said Apple changed (ruined) the shortcuts in Mojave?

Doesn't work for me. I am using Ventura 13.2.1. I cannot find the file paths for any of my spotlight searches. I highlight what I am looking for (by up and down arrows) then press Command key and nothing shows up. Any ideas? TIA

2024 Solution - After doing spotlight search and selecting a file, hold command, path will show, then double click on the file and the folder will open, showing the files within that folder including the one you selected. Hope that helps someone else (I'm sure there was a shorter way to explain that)
