FT991A Programming Catskill - KQ2H in NY RPT settings & contact - Found HIGH SWR - testing stopped.

This video shows how to program the Catskill - KQ2H 10m meter RPT into a memory location on the FT991A, setting the RPT shift, tone and ENC settings and saving them to memory location 31. During testing discovered HIGH SWR's on transmission with possible high winds in the are may have been interfering with antenna performance.

At 6:00 minutes in the video I was pressing the FM/List then the A-M button, that was incorrect, after programing the VFO-A press A-M quickly, then use the Multi knob to find the available memory location from the list, then with the memory location selected press and HOLD the A-M button, wait for two beeps and the memory list to clear. The VFO-A programming is now stored into the new memory location.

When I put mine on the air and did initial adjustments I kind of left it alone lol. I like the little rig A LOT and the menus aren't that bad, BUT, I'm too busy to monkey with stuff. After a year and a half I figured I might 60m, lol, have at it.

The memory save, did not work because you have to hit the A-M button momentarily first then, select the slot where you went to save it and then hold the A-M button down until it’s saved. whereas you want to the F button and brought up the memory channel menu and tried to save it and you can not do that.
