I'm a disabled veteran and a few years ago I was buying a house but I couldn't keep up with the yard work so when code enforcement fined me i knew i had to move.

The City of Winter Haven is concerned about safety yet a 58 yr old Navy Veteran who was in need of help got none!, Left to die! When EMS showed up in Winter Haven they made false claims of lividy and rigor mortis! Only 0.8 miles from him he is heard speaking on the 911 audio and the CAD has him breathing. Yet he got no CPR, no life saving protocols and the people involved are still going to homes. Not even disciplined when they should all be fired! But Winter Haven Public Safety Charlie Bird is concerned about Safety issues?...What's good for the goose should be good for the gander right Charlie?...My advice do not live in Winter Haven or any of Polk County Florida! Your life could be in danger!! If you have lividity and rigors you dont get CPR...Only thing is our loved didn't have either. So how many more people won't get CPR that should have??

Then you need to give him the proper help that he need so he can get his place remodeled so he can live until he decided to go home but some people want your land and want your property that's why it's very important if you have children are grandchildren and they need to get involved and try to keep that land in that property

Figures. We destroy these structurally indestructible 1900s houses, and then replace them with crappy stick houses that won't be standing in 35 years. All because, what, a little water leaked through the roof? Cut out the rot and shore it up with some 2x4s or 2x6s.

I hate seeing nice houses knocked down to be replaced by stick garbage. People only ever seem to care what's on the outside, not realizing that the structures are faker than this society. Now it's just a race to see what collapses first, the stick houses, or society. Judging by how we treat our veterans, I think it'll be society. 35 years is still a ways off.
